ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider and pass the appropriate order against the RTI petition made by the petitioner dated 06.02.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made RTI petition dated 06.02.2024 seeking information as to the action taken on the representation already made by the petitioner. Till date, the respondent refused to provide any information. Hence, the present writ petition is filed by the petitioner.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that in the event the respondent is not providing any information, the right course available to the petitioner is to file appeal in the manner known to law under the RTI Act.

4. In such view of the matter, no further order can be issued in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file appeal before the appropriate authority to address the issue in accordance with the RTI Act. No costs.
