Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue the individual and Consolidated Mark Sheets of the petitioner pertaining to his results for the Semesters I to V in the B.Sc.(Zoology) Course, forthwith.

O R D E R

The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that despite completing the course, the individual and Consolidated Mark Sheets have not been furnished despite the fact that he got admission in postgraduate course and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

2. Mr.S.Sathia Chandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the individual as well as Consolidated Mark Sheets have been furnished to the petitioner and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition and would further pray that in future, Consolidated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Mark Sheets may be directed to be issued to all the students/candidates.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.V.Gangadharan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the third respondent also.

4. This Court is of the considered view that almost all the institutions especially foreign Universities insisting for Consolidated Mark Sheets and therefore, the respondent University shall make every endeavour to issue the same to the students who have passed their respective courses, at least from this academic session.

5. In the light of the said development, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed subject to the above observations.
