[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instructions would submit that in respect of the poll being held for Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, the petitioner / political party has been given 'Torch Light' symbol and as such, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.
2. This Court heard the submission of Mr.Niranjan Rajagopal, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 also.
3. In the light of the said development, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
