This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner in connection with charge sheet in C.C.No.197 of 2011 on the file of X Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Allikulam, Chennai.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that initially a case in Cr.No.267 of 2010 was registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 341, 323, 324 and 506(ii) IPC against four accused, in which the name of the petitioner was not there. After completing the investigation, a charge sheet was filed in C.C.No.197 of 2011 before the X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

3. On the petition moved by the de facto complainant for further investigation, this Court had directed further investigation, pursuant to which, investigation was taken up and this petitioner was called for enquiry.

4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the police for enquiry and at the time of conducting enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed.
