Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give notional promotion to the petitioner with effect from 2007 the date on which the petitioner's junior was given promotion as Assistant Director and confer all the consequential benefits such as revision of pension and other terminal benefits by considering the representation dated 6.5.2010 made by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that during the pendency of the writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner for grant of notional pension has been redressed and in this regard the Government has issued G.O.No.69, Rural Development Department dated 10.02.2014. Thus, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grievance stated in the writ petition.
