O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to defreeze the Bank account of the petitioner maintained in the the 1st and 2nd respondent banks. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that freezing of the bank account was done on 13.4.2023 in the course of investigation in Crime No.46 of 2023 and it was intimated on the same day before the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet. 3.In the light of the above submission, it is clear that the mandate under Section 102 Cr.PC has been complied with. Therefore, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to move an appropriate application before the learned Magistrate and seek for defreezing of the bank account and on filing of such application, orders shall be passed by the learned Magistrate within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of such application. 4.This petition is disposed of with the above directions.
