3 W.P.No.22426 of 2019 This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus and call for the records of the 1st respondent election proceedings dated 24.07.2019 and to quash the same and consequently direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to conduct re-election for the Koodapakkam Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society Ltd., P.19 after taking steps for enrolling new members through notification.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner seeks that election to be conducted again for The koodapakkam Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., Pl9, Koodapakkam, Puducherry. Election has been conducted and the period has been over in the year 2021. Thereafter subsequent elections have also been conducted and that period has also ended. It is now stated that the Society has gone into liquidation requiring appointment of an administrator. The scope of the writ petition is extremely narrow and the issue raised has become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition are also closed.
