PRAYER; Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the impugned orders issued by the 1st Respondent in G.O. (Ms) No 162 Municipal Administration and Water Supply (ME.3) Department dated 05.11.2024, in so far it excludes the category of sanitary office form the benefit of the GO and the proceedings issued by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka. No 25497 / 2024 dated 30.05.2025, rejecting the representation of the petitioners and quash them as illegal and direct the respondents 1 and 2 to issue orders adopting the ratio to fill up the promotion post of the Sanitary officer on rotation among the Sanitary Inspectors working under different local bodies on par with the ratio granted to the Engineering posts.
