ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the I Additional Principal Family Judge, Chennai to expedite the trial and dispose of I.D.O.P.No.765 of 2020 within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. The facts of the case are that the petitioner married the respondent on 23.04.2012 and when they are living in the matrimonial home, the respondent acted upon the advice of her family members and deserted the petitioner, due to which the petitioner filed a restitution petition for conjugal rights in O.P.No.2084 of 2017 and also filed a I.A No.4812 of 2018 in O.P.No.2084 of 2017 for granting visiting rights of the children. However, the respondent unnecessarily by stating one reason or other dragged the proceedings, as a result of which exparte order was passed in O.P.No.2084 of 2017 on 16.09.2019. Thereafter, the petitioner filed I.D.O.P.No.765 of 2020 before the I Additional Principal Family Judge, Chennai on the grounds of cruelty and desertion and the same was pending till date. Hence this petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has taken his earnest efforts possible to reunion with the respondent, but all the efforts ended with failure, due to which he has filed the I.D.O.P.No.765 of 2020 and the same is pending. Hence he prays this Court to allow this petition.

4. In view of the above, the learned I Additional Principal Family Judge, Chennai is directed to dispose of the I.D.O.P.No.765 of 2020 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
