Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to transfer the investigation in FIR No.10/2023 dated 12.10.2023 District Crime Branch Erode FIR No.2/2024 dated 20.05.2024, Economic Offences Wing, Erode; FIR NO.214/2024 dated 08.11.2024, Central Crime Branch-I, Chennai and all the pending complaints to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Chennai in the interest of a fair impartial and effective
investigation.

ORDER
WPMP.Crl.No.78 of 2025 has been filed to permit the petitioners to join together and institute a single writ petition. This petition is ordered.
2. The petitioner by way of this writ petition seeks transfer of investigation to the CBI/6th respondent.
3. According to the petitioners, they had deposited almost 9 crores, only Rs.2.49 crores has been repaid and the remaining amount has not been paid. This Court has already directed the respondents to complete the investigation and file a report within a period of five months, however, no such report has been filed. Hence, seeks for transfer of investigation to CBI/6th respondent.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted
that the investigation is already completed and final report is also filed by way of e-filing on 10.08.2025 on the file of the TNPID Court, Coimbatore. Further, it is the stand of the Additional Public Prosecutor that they have already taken steps to attach other properties worth Rs.6 crores and they already sent proposals to attach four properties, whereas, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that they have identified 30 properties of the accused, however, no steps have been taken.
5. In such view of the matter, let the learned counsel for the petitioner serve the details of the properties to the Investigating Officer, on such furnishing of details, the Investigating Officer shall proceed further against such properties as per law.
6. With the above, this petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed. 10.09.2025 dhk Index :Yes/No Internet:Yes/No
