ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the second and third respondents to release the payments due to the petitioner for the supply of materials in favour of the third respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner is the proprietor of Sri Murugan Electricals and Pipes at Namakkal and selling electrical goods to the customers. While being so, the second respondent placed orders for supply of electrical goods on credit basis to the third respondent Panchayat. Accordingly, the petitioner supplied the goods for a sum of Rs.4,63,220/- from 02.09.2023 to 31.10.2023. The goods were duly received and the same was acknowledged by the second respondent and accordingly, the petitioner raised bill in the name of the third respondent. However, so far no payment has been made and as such the petitioner submitted a representation and the same was not considered. Hence, this writ petition.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second and third respondents are directed to settle the amount as per the invoices raised by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
