ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.MATHIVANAN, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India to produce the body of the detenue viz., C.Priyanka before this Court and entrust her custody to the petitioner.

2.The petitioner herein is none other than the father of the detenue. He has stated that the detenue C.Priyanka is a graduate in B.E. Computer science and worked for H.C.L. Company till 06.09.2016. That on 17.10.2016, at about 10 a.m., she went https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

out from the home informing that she was going for an interview in a new company but thereafter she never turned back to home. The strenuous search made by the petitioner ended in futile and therefore, he had lodged a complaint before the second respondent police on 21.10.2016 and based on his complaint, a case in Crime No.1913 of 2016 was registered under the caption of 'woman missing'.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the second respondent herein has produced the girl. On enquiry, she has stated that she is aged about 24 years and her date of birth is 23.05.1992. She has also stated that she had married one Rajesh Mathew on 28.11.2016 at Kerala and she has been living along with her husband. She does not want to go along with her father who is the petitioner herein and wants to go along with her husband 4.Considering the very nature of the case, we find that the detenue can be set at her liberty as she is aged about 24 years.
