COMMON PRAYER:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners.

For Petitioners : Mr.V.Sundarraman (in both Crl.O.P.Nos.) For Respondents : Mr.R.Vinothraja (in both Crl.O.P.Nos. Government Advocate [Crl. Side] COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners.

2. The petitioners, who are witnesses in P.R.C.No.140 of 2019 pending before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Coimbatore, made allegation that the respondent police are harassing the petitioners for the reason that the petitioners are making arrangements to eliminate Kuttai Senthil (aka) Senthilkumar and his friends, who had murdered the first petitioner's son Karikalan. In view of the same, the above petitions are filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submits that the first petitioner's son Karikalan was murdered by Kuttai Senthil (aka) Senthilkumar and his friends. The above said Karikalan was a notorious rowdy, had more than 50 cases. The petitioners were never called for enquiry by the respondent police and no harassment was caused. The respondent police did not know for what reason the above two petitions are filed by the petitioners.

4. He further submitted that the investigation in Crime No.30 of 2019 has been conducted by the Saravanpatti Police Station, Coimbatore, had now culminated into a charge sheet and filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Coimbatore and the case is posted to 20.12.2021. The petitioners are not required by the respondent police and they have not called for enquiry. The petitioners apprehension for arrest at the hands of the respondent police is without any materials.

5. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side], these Criminal Original Petitions stand disposed of.
