O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondent to conduct survey of the land situated in Survey Nos. 382/4B and 382/5 situated at Kanavaipudur Village, Kadayampatti Taluk, Salem District based on the representation of the petitioner dated 03.04.2023.

2. According to the petitioner, the above mentioned properties originally belonged to his father. After his death, he and his deceased brother's son have been in possession and enjoyment of the same. He submitted the application to the respondent on 03.04.2023 seeking survey of the above mentioned land. He also paid necessary charges in Challan No.20230403012317. The application of the petitioner has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that survey of the land would be completed within a time fixed by this Court.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.04.2023 and complete the survey of the land within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
