..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent herein to consider and dispose of the representation dated 26.03.2025 submitted by the petitioner for correction of error in the revenue records with regard to the extent of lands admeasuring an extent of 946 sq.ft/87.89 sq.mtr in Survey No.196/4K situated at Kurichi Village, Madukarai Taluk, Coimbatore District. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2025.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 26.03.2025 before the respondents to correct the error in the revenue records with regard to the extent of lands admeasuring an extent of 946 sq.ft/87.89 sq.mtr in Survey No.196/4K situated at Kurichi Village, Madukarai Taluk, Coimbatore District. However, the said representation was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition.
3. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2025 will be considered within a period of eight weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated
26.03.2025, after issuing due notice to the petitioner and other aggrieved persons, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight
(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
