This petition is filed seeking injunction restraining the respondents from in any manner conducting auction in respect of the properties of Sri Kothandaramasami Temple, Thuthipet, Vellore.

2. The main Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the tender notice dated 03.07.2023. When the matter came up for hearing before this Court on 11.07.2023, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 sought for time to file counter. Accordingly, the time was granted till 27.07.2023. In the mean time the fourth respondent was permitted to proceed with auction, with a direction, auction bid shall not be confirmed till 13.07.2023. In the affidavit filed in support of this application, it is stated by the petitioner that subsequently a new tender notice was issued by the respondents on 17.07.2023 fixing auction on 26.07.2023.

3. In view of the said averment made in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, there shall be an order of interim injunction till 27.07.2023. S.SOUNTHAR , J.
