Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to issue a family card to the petitioner based on the application dated 12.08.2013 given by the petitioner within a stipulated period of time. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would state that petitioner is a permanent resident of Door no.2/5, Perumalkoil Street, Pedamaneri, Dharmapuri and the respondent had issued family card in the year 2005-2009 bearing no.31/G/0394794 and mentioned her father's name as family head. The petitioner on account of her marriage had taken a decision to set up separate residence and approached the respondents 2 and 3 for issuance of separate family card in the form of application dated 12.08.2013 and since it has not been given disposal, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.B.Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions would submit that the petitioner did not produce the property tax receipts/ family card and also sought for certain details and since the petitioner

re-submitted the application along with the necessary documents, it is under progress and orders at an early date will be passed. 5.In the light of the above facts and circumstances, this Court directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 12.08.2013, for issuance of family card, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
