ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was remanded to judicial custody on 12.08.2021 for the offence under Sections 406, 420 r/w.120(B) and 5 of TNPID Act @ under Sections 406, 409, 420 of I.P.C. r/w.120(b) of I.P.C. and 5 of TNPID Act (Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishment) Act, 1997, in Cr.No.22 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.It is the case of the prosecution that the accused in the case are alleged to have floated fake companies and induced the general public by stating that if they invest in the company it would be repaid as gold more than the value of the invested amount and cheated the general public to the tune of Rs.1,89,94,000/-. The petitioner is arrayed as A3.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the earlier petition seeking anticipatory bail filed by the petitioner was dismissed by this Court and would further submit that this Court may atleast grant interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the petitioner will identify the victims and give back the money. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that there is no previous case as against the petitioner, however, the amount involved in the case is a huge amount and would further submit that there are 219 victims.

5.Considering the fact that 219 victims are affected due to the scheme floated by the accused and the huge amount involved in the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. -sd/- 29/10/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
