The petitioner /wife seeks transfer of IDOP.No.109 of 2019 pending on the file of the Principal District Court, Villupuram to the II-Additional Family Court, Chennai to be tried along with MC.No.198 of 2021. Transfer is sought for solely on the ground of convenience, since the wife is a resident of Choolaimedu near Chennai.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent / husband would submit that both the parties hail from Villupuram and hence, the case was filed at Villupuram. He would also submit that the husband is working at Chennai.
3.In view of the same, no prejudice would be caused to the parties by transferring IDOP.No.109 of 2019 on the file of the Principal District Court, Villupuram to the II-Additional Family Court, Chennai to be tried along with MC.No.198 of 2021. This transfer civil miscellaneous petition is allowed, IDOP.No.109 of 2019 is withdrawn from the file of the Principal District Court, Villupuram and transferred to the II-Additional Family Court, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
