O R D E R

The respondent initiated proceedings for divorce in H.M.O.P.No.136 of 2016 before the Subordinate Court, Tambaram. The petitioner, who is a resident of Thatchanallur in the District of Tirunelveli, has come up with this petition for transfer.

2. During the currency of this transfer petition, the parties have arrived at a settlement to transfer the proceedings from Subordinate Court, Tambaram to the Subordinate Court, Thenkasi.

3. The petitioner is a resident of Thiruneveli District. She has to travel about one hour to reach the Court at Thenkasi. The parties now wanted the matter to be transferred to Thenkasi. I am therefore of the view that the transfer miscellaneous petition deserves to be allowed.

4. The proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.136 of 2016 is withdrawn from the file of Sub Court, Tiruneveli and is transferred to the file of Family Court at Thenkasi, for disposal on merits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
