This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners on 06.07.2018 by the Additional District Judge (Fast Track Court), Villupuram in Crl.MP.No.4460 of 2018.
2. The petitioners are the accused in Crime No.536 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 147, 294-B, 323 and 506(i) IPC r/w Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act. The petitioners were granted anticipatory bail on 06.07.2018 by the Additional District Judge, Villupuram, in Crl.MP.No.4460 of 2018, on certain conditions, one of which is that they should execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ulundurpet. The petitioners/accused are before this Court for modifying the aforesaid condition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners/accused submitted that all the family members have been made accused in Crime No.536 of 2018 and therefore, each of them is not able to get two sureties separately.
4. Accepting his submission and taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court modifies the condition to the effect that instead of two sureties each, the accused shall furnish one surety, who should be a relative and not necessarily blood relative. Rest of the conditions imposed by the Additional District Judge, Villupuram, shall remain the same. Two weeks time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for complying with the order dated 06.07.2018 passed by the Additional District Judge, Villupuram in Crl.MP.No.4460 of 2018.
With the above modification, this petition is ordered, accordingly.
