Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records in Connection with the order of Detention passed by the second respondent in BCDFGISSSV No.C2/24752/2016 dated 25.10.2016 against the petitioner's daughter Gowri, female, aged 41 years,W/o Ilayaraman, who is confined at Special Prison for Woman, Vellore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue before the court and set her at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings in BCDFGISSSV No.C2/24752/2016 dated 25.10.2016, whereby the detenue, namely Gowri,W/o Ilayaraman, aged about 41 years, was ordered to be detained under GOONDA as contemplated Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the petitioner's daughter dated 25.10.2016 has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.6107, HOME, PROHIBITION & EXCISE (XIV) DEPARTMENT, dated 2.12.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
