ORDER

This revision petition is filed seeking a direction to the VIII Small Causes Court, Chennai, to dispose of the Rent Control Appeal, RCA.No.132 of 2020 within a time fixed by this Court.

2. Having regard to the limited prayer made in this revision, this Court is inclined to dispose of the revision even without issuing notice to the respondent.

3. The above Rent Control Appeal was filed by the respondent/tenant, challenging the order of eviction passed by the Rent Controller.

4. The perusal of the docket order filed in the typed set of papers would suggest that the matter has been pending from July 2021 2/4

onwards, for arguments, without any substantial progress.

5. In view of the same, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the VIII Small Causes Court, Chennai (Rent Control Appellate Authority), to dispose of RCA.No.132 of 2022 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
