The above petition is filed to condone the delay of 2919 days in filing the appeal against the Judgement and Decree in M.C.O.P.No.3820 of 2007 on the file of MACT IV Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai.

2. Mr.K.Moorthy has entered appearance for the respondent Transport Corporation. He has no objection to the delay being condoned subject to the condition that the claimant will not be entitled to interest for the period of 2919 days.

3. The petition is allowed. The appellant is not entitled to any interest for the said period, i.e., 2919 days.

4. The Registry is directed to print the name of Mr.K.Moorthy at the time of admission.
