PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to dispose the revision preferred by the petitioner dated 15.03.2012 to the 1st respondent within the time fixed by this Court. ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is to issue a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the revision preferred by the petitioner dated 15.03.2012.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, learned counsel for the 5th respondent and the learned counsel for the respondents 6 and 7.

3. It is submitted that aggrieved by the order passed by the 3rd respondent, the petitioner has wrongly preferred Revision before the 1st respondent, who in turn transferred the same to the 2nd respondent.

4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the 2nd respondent is the competent authority to dispose of the Revision of the petitioner and he further submitted that appropriate orders will be passed in a reasonable time.

5. In the light of the above submissions, this Court, without going in to the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to dispose of the said Revision on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the necessary parties within a period of twelve months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
