Mandamus, calling for the entire record pertaining to the impugned order passed by the Fourth Respondent in Letter No.6624/TACTV-4/2018 dated 09.07.2019 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct, the Respondents to accept the Petitioner's application/representation dated 11.07.2019 to participate in the tender.

Heard Mr. P.M. Vishnuvarthanan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. R. Venkatesh, Learned Government Advocate for the First Respondent and Mr. S.Gunasekaran, Learned Counsel for the Second to Fifth Respondents, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Petitioner had applied for the post of Digital Signal Distributor on 11.07.2019 but as he had not submitted the required security deposit, by letter dated 09.07.2019, his application was rejected. However, the Petitioner has subsequently remitted the security deposit of a sum of Rs.50,000/- along with the representation dated 11.07.2019 to accept the same. The Writ Petition has been filed challenging the said order of rejection dated 09.07.2019 and to accept the security deposit made on 11.07.2019 to the Respondents. 3.

Learned Counsel for the Respondents, on instructions, states that the aforesaid security deposit of Rs.50,000/- remitted by the Petitioner on 11.07.2019 has been accepted by the concerned authority and that the application of the Petitioner would be processed along with the other applications. The said submission is placed on record. Nothing remains for further consideration in the writ petition.
