Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records in Connection with the order of Detention passed by the third respondent in Memo No.S.C.No.41/2016 (CS) dated 28.10.2016 against the petitioner's husband Sivakumar, male, aged 34 years S/o Duraisamy, who is confined at Central Prison, Salem and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before the court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings in S.C.No.41/2016 (CS) dated 28.10.2016, whereby the detenu, namely Sivakumar S/o Duraisamy, male, aged 34 years, was ordered to be detained under BLACK MARKETER as contemplated under The Prevention of Blackmarketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 (Central Act 7 of 1980). 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the third respondent as against the petition dated 28.10.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.441, COOPERATION, FOOD AND CONSUMER PROTECTION (E3) DEPARTMENT, dated 22.11.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
