The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 15.07.2022 for the offences punishable under Section 366 of IPC and Section 4 Protection of Child from Sexual Offence Act, 2012 in crime No.14 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had committed penetrative sexual assault on the victim girl aged about 15 years. Hence the case.

3. On the pretext of false marriage, the petitioner had committed penetrative sexual assault on the victim girl aged about 15 years. Further, she was left out in the railway station and thereafter, she was secured.

4. Therefore, the petitioner has committed very serious and heinous offence as against the minor victim girl and this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is dismissed.
