O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to grant police protection to the petitioner based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 19.12.2020.

2. Heard Ms.C.R.Ponnuthai, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr. M. Mohamed Riyaz, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen from the records that there is already a landlord tenant dispute between the petitioner and the 2nd respondent and the grievance of the petitioner is that the 2nd respondent is threatening the petitioner, whenever the petitioner is asking the 2nd respondent to vacate and handover the demised premises.

4. In the considered view of this Court, if the petitioner wants to evict the 2nd respondent from the subject property, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has to necessarily file a petition for eviction and workout her remedy in accordance with law and the police will have no role to play in a case of this nature. Except giving this liberty, no further orders can be passed in this petition.

5. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
