O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.678 of 2018 on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-State.

3. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.678 of 2018 on 02.04.2018 for the offences under Sections 120-B, 465, 406, 420, 147, 447 and 506(ii) IPC against Saravanan and others. This petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking a direction to complete the investigation in Crime No.678 of 2018 in a time bound manner.

4. Taking into consideration the fact that Section 465 IPC https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has been included in the FIR, in which, a detailed examination of the documents is necessary, this Court cannot issue a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner.

However, this petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.678 of 2018, as expeditiously as possible and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
