This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 717 days in filing the appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Despite the receipt of notice, respondents no.3 and 4 neither appeared nor represented through their counsel.

4. The sole petitioner would aver that she is unable to continue her work due to the injuries sustained on account of the accident. She would further state that she has to spend money for the illness. Meanwhile, she was also affected by dengue fever. Hence, the delay of 717 days occurred, which is not wanton.

5. The reasons mentioned in the affidavit appear to be reasonable and acceptable. Hence, this Court is inclined to allow this Civil Miscellaneous Petition and the delay of 717 days is condoned on condition to waive the interest for the delay period. 12.09.2025 Mac https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
