ORDER
Mr.Vinoth Pandian, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for respondents. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up and disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2. The relief sought for in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2020 within the time as stipulated by this Court.
3. The case of the petitioner is that she purchased the property at Survey No.26-1C, New Survey No.26/1C1 to an extent of 2.01 acres at Kapannamangalam Village, Kodavasal Taluk, Tiruvarur District from the vendor one Mr.P.Karthikeyan through a sale deed dated 24.07.2020. The previous vendor one Mr.A.Baskaran has filed an application before the 2nd respondent on 29.12.1997 in Registration No.211/1997-98 for issuance of free electricity connection for the said nanja land, which the petitioner had purchased through sale deed dated 24.07.2020. The service connection is given on the basis of seniority of the application made irrespective of the ownership. The service connection is meant for the land and not for the person. Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation dated 15.09.2020 to consider the seniority made by her previous vendor Mr.A.Baskaran. 2/4
Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking the above said relief.

5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the 2nd respondent to consider and decide. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.09.2020 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
