ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S. BASKARAN, J] The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to produce his son, namely, G. Veerapandiyan, who has been missing from 11.11.2016.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the detenu was produced before this Court.

4. On enquiry, the detenu has stated that he went away from his house on his own and was staying in his friend's house. He had expressed his desire to go along with the petitioner, who is his father. The petitioner had also agreed to take back his son.

5. In such circumstances, we are of the view that since the detenu is a major and he had expressed his desire to go along with the petitioner, who is his father, the detenu G. Veerapandiyan, is permitted to go along with his father, as per his wish and therefore, no further orders are necessary in this petition. Hence, this petition stands closed.
