ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to permit the petitioner to participate in the certificate verification for the post of Special Teacher in Drawing to be held on 23.10.2021 and 24.10.2021 based on her marks and consequently, direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Special Teacher in Drawing in the School Education Department.
2. Heard Mr.M.R.Jothimanian, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Government Advocate for R1 & R2 and Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Standing Counsel for R3.
3. The petitioner is one of the applicants for the post of Drawing Teacher and she has cleared the written examination. When the certificate verification was intimated, the petitioner gone with her certificates for verification before the concerned authority. However in the revised Page No.2 of 6
provisional list, the petitioner's name was not found. On enquiry, the petitioner came to know that her name was not approved for the reason that she did not produce PSTM (Persons Studied in Tamil Medium) certificate. Immediately the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition by stating that she has produced PSTM certificate also, but that was not duly considered by the concerned authority. In view of the interim order dated 22.10.2021, the petitioner has also produced all the certificates including PSTM certificate once again before the concerned authority.

The learned Standing Counsel for the third respondent submitted that the petitioner has produced all the certificates for verification, however, the result of the final list of the selected candidates has not been declared so far. Since the petitioner has produced PSTM certificate, I feel appropriate direction should be given.
5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed and the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner for the category of the posts reserved for PSTM and declare the results by also including the Page No.3 of 6
name of the petitioner for consideration in accordance with her merit and other parameters which is equally adopted to the other candidates who come in the same category. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
