This Civil Revision Petition has been filed for a direction to the learned V Family Court Judge, Chennai to dispose of the case in I.D.O.P.No.3903 of 2019 within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner herein is the husband and the respondent herein is the wife who got married on 04.06.2003 as per Christian Ceremonies. Out of the wedlock, a male child was born to them. Further, the respondent started consuming alcohol and addicted to liquor. When the petitioner was pregnant, the respondent was under the influence of alcohol and he started using Maava, Pan Parag and cigarettes. The respondent was working as Centering Worker in Building Construction and unless he does work regularly, no builder will take him for their work. Even if he goes to work, he used to spend the major portion of income in the TASMAC shop and came home late, start fighting with the petitioner till midnight.

Due to the misunderstanding and dispute between the petitioner-Wife and the respondent-husband, the petitioner has filed I.D.O.P.No.3903 of 2019 on the file of V Family Court Judge, Chennai. Hence, the present petition has been filed for a direction to the V Family Court Judge, Chennai to dispose of the said case within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned V Family Court Judge, Chennai is directed to dispose of the case in I.D.O.P.No.3903 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file report before this Court after disposal of that case. The parties concerned are directed to co-operate for trial, without getting any adjournment.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
