[Order of the Court was made by G.CHOCKALINGAM, J.] The petitioner, who is the brother of the detenu, Umamaheswaran, Son of Rajendran, aged about 25 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 29.01.2016 against his husband branding him as a "BOOTLEGGER" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982]. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the brother of the petitioner dated 29.01.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.1347, dated 28.03.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
