PRAYER: This Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.10.2021 and pass appropriate orders accordingly.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.10.2021 and pass appropriate orders accordingly.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents as well as perused the material available on records.

3. Having considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, it is seen that the petitioner's wife purchased the property in S.No.256/1A, measuring an extent of 2 cents situated at Polupalli Village, Krishnagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District. The petitioner's wife died in the accident and the petitioner and his children are in the possession and enjoyment of the said property. On verifying, it was found that UDR Patta for the property of the petitioner was wrongly mentioned in the name of one Narasimman. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 06.10.2021 requesting the respondents to cancel the wrong entry in the UDR Patta in the name of M.Narasimman and to issue patta in his name.

The respondents have neither sent any reply nor taken any action on his representation. Hence, this Court without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation dated 06.10.2021 of the petitioner herein and pass appropriate orders within a period of Sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order in accordance with law after perusing the revenue records.

4. In the result, the Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed if any. There shall be no order as to costs. s/d- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub-Assistant Registrar Lbm To:
