This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking modification of the conditions imposed by the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate CourtEgmore in Crl.M.P.No.6764 of 2025 dated 22.05.2025.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that learned II Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore in Crl.M.P.No.6764 of 2025 has granted bail to the petitioner with a condition that "the petitioner is ordered to be enlarged on bail on his production of bond for Rs.15,000/- along with 2 sureties. Out of the 2 sureties, one surety should be blood surety and another surety should be a solvent surety residing within the local limits of Greater Chennai Corporation''. Now, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to provide two blood sureties and was not in a position to provide solvent surety residing within the local limits of Greater Chennai Corporation and despite the bail being granted on 22.05.2025, the petitioner is still in prison. Hence, he prayed for suitable modification.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court modifies the above conditions to the effect that "the petitioner is ordered to be enlarged on bail on his production of bond for Rs.15,000/- along with two blood related sureties.

4. With the above observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered. The other conditions shall remain unaltered. 16.07.2025 cda To
