This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in SC No. 26 of 2023 in crime No. 993 of 2022 on the file of Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Chengalpattu.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 23.09.2022, at about 12 p.m., the petitioner called the defacto complainant to return the balance amount of Rs.500/- and to adjust the balance amount he offered her to service the AC machine by evening 06.30 p.m., both the petitioner and his friend came to the defacto complainant's house when she allowed them inside the house to service the AC at that time A2 forcibly entered into the house and alleged to have forcibly closed her mouth and pushed here down and raped her with the help of the petitioner. Thereafter, threatened her with screw driver and extorted gold chain, mobile phone from her and escaped from the place of occurrence. Hence, the case.

3. Heard both sides.

4. On seeing the gravity of the offence,, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. 26.07.2024 pbl
