With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. Heard Mr.D.Senthil Kumaar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. This writ petition has been filed praying to direct the respondents 1 to 3, to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 7/1/2016 and pass an order based on the petitioner's representations and consequently direct the respondents 2 and 3, to fix value and for the Old Survey No.373/3, (New Survey No.373/3F, measuring 0.03.0 Ares, 373/3G measuring 0.1.50 Ares) of Annur Village.
4. The petitioner is the owner of the property, measuring an extent of 12 cents, comprised in Old Survey No.373/3, (New Survey No.373/3F measuring 0.03.0 ares, 373/3G measuring 0.1.50 Ares) of Annur Village, Avinashi Taluk, Coimbatore District. When the petitioner wanted to settle the aforestated property in favour of his daughters, he was informed by the Sub-Registrar, Annur/third respondent that the value for the said survey numbers was not fixed by the Registration Department.
5. On 28/10/2015, the Tahsildar of Annur, issued a certificate, confirming that the Survey Nos.373/3F and 373/3G, measuring an extent of 4.5 Ares (12 cents) is owned by the petitioner. But the third respondent failed to register the Settlement Deed.
6. The petitioner had sent a detailed representation, on 7/1/2016, to the respondents, to fix the value for the property, comprised in Survey Nos.373/3F and 373/3G of Annur Village, Avinashi Taluk, Coimbatore District. Since the respondents had not taken any action, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition, praying for the relief as stated therein.

Without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the first respondent is hereby directed, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 7/1/2016, and pass an appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by affording an opportunity of personal hearing, to the petitioner as well as to the parties concerned. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim of the petition.
8. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
