This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to accord police protection to the petitioner at their cost in administering and managing the Mogappair Jamia Masjid & Madrasa Wakf at 4th Block, Mogappair East, Chennai-37.

2. Mr.I.Kowser Nissar, representing for the learned counsel Mr.N.A.Nissar Ahmed, would submit that the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. Recording the above submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
