The transfer petition is filed to withdraw HMOP.No.19 of 2023 from the file of the Sub Court, Tiruvarur and transfer the same to the file of the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore.

2. The petitioner married the respondent on 14.02.2011 at Coimbatore. The petitioner and the respondent were blessed with one female child Ashaya and one male child Ajay. The petitioner would submit that she and her children were deserted by the respondent. Therefore, the petitioner had filed MC.No.179 of 2022 on the file of the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore, seeking maintenance. Thereafter, the respondent filed HMOP.No.19 of 2023, on the file of the Sub Court, Tiruvarur, seeking divorce.

3. The petitioner would submit that she is living with her parents at Coimbatore and not in a position to travel to Tiruvarur to attend every hearings, both physically as well as financially. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The respondent though served has not entered appearance.

5. Considering the above facts and also the fact that the respondent is not paying any maintenance to the petitioner and her children, the transfer petition is allowed. HMOP.No.19 of 2023, pending on the file of the Sub Court, Tiruvarur is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
