This petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent to comply the order of this Hon'ble Court passed in Crl.O.P.No.19842 of 2018 dated 10.08.2018, within a time limit to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. This Court by an order dated 10.08.2018 in Crl.O.P.No.19842 of 2018 directed the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.186 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible.

3. However, the respondent did not complete the investigation and as such, the petitioner filed this petition for direction directing the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report, within a stipulated time.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation is almost completed and awaiting for Forensic Science Laboratory report. He further submitted that immediately after receipt of the Forensic Science Laboratory report, within a period of four weeks, the final report will be filed. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

5. In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.186 of 2017, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of Forensic Science Laboratory report.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of.
