On representation of the counsel for both sides this case is taken up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Mr.D.Baskaran, learned counsel for the petitioner for Mr.P.Sankaranarayanan is present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows: 1/3

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The Insurance Company has preferred this revision petition against M.C.O.P.No.6183 of 2014 on the file learned Special Sub Judge-II, Small Causes Court, Chennai. The amount claimed is Rs.4,00,000/-, but what has been awarded is only Rs.22,500/-. The counsel for the appellant and Mr. Jagapreeth Singh Chanda are present.

2. The counsel for the Insurance Company seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the revision. Permission is granted. The Civil Revision Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

3. The Insurance Company is directed to deposit the said sum within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Tribunal is directed to transfer the amount through RTGS/NEFT to the parties concerned on proper identification in accordance with the terms of the Award, without insisting on any formal permission petition. The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of accordingly.
