ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent Police to execute the bailable warrant against the third respondent in C.C.No.847 of 2021.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the second respondent was attempting to execute the bailable warrant for the last three to four months and the third respondent was not available / was absconding.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to file a report before the learned IV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, on the date of hearing on 22.08.2023. Based on the same, if the Court below comes to a conclusion that the third respondent is intentionally evading appearance before the Court, the Court below shall proceed to issue a non-bailable warrant against the third respondent and proceed further in accordance with 2/4

law. If any such non-bailable warrant is issued, the second respondent shall execute the same as expeditiously as possible.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed off with the above directions.
