This writ petition has been filed for seeking order or direction or any other nature of writ, directing the 2nd Respondent to dispose off the pending proceeding in NA.KA.No.99/PBI/2018-2- Dated 26.09.2018 signed on 27.11.2018, to issue relief for the petitioner's Fishing Boat missing in

OCKHI CYCLONE between 29.11.2017 and 30.11.2017, with in a period fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is that the petitioner is a Marine Fishers Identity Card holder and further the petitioner have membership with Eraviputhunthurai Fisherman Co-operative Society. He purchased a fishing vessel on 02.08.2014 bearing Registration No. IND-TN-15MM-89 and for that certificate also issued on 14.11.2014. Since the petitioner boat was missed due to cyclone, he made a representation for the compensation of missing boat and the proceeding was pending before the second respondent. Again the petitioner made a representation to dispose the proceeding pending before the second respondent however till date no order was passed. Hence, the the present writ petition is filed. 3.M/s.U.Baranidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that appropriate orders will be passed for the proceedings dated 27.11.2018 within a period of four weeks from the date of copy of this order.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

5. Recording the same, this Court directs the respondents to dispose the proceedings dated 27.11.2021 and to pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
