.. Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to pay minimum pension to the petitioner along with arrears of pension with interest within the time fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition, seeking a direction to the respondents herein to pay minimum pension to the him along with arrears of pension with interest.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by Mr.J.Pothiraj, learned Special Government Pleader that the Government will consider the request of the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and send a proposal to the third respondent for extending the minimum pension payable to the petitioner, if G.O.No.756 Revenue Department, dated 17.08.1993 is made applicable.

3. In case a favourable proposal is sent by the Government, the third respondent shall start extending the benefits to the petitioner within a period of two months thereafter.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
