ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.12.2020.

2. Heard Mr.M.Senthamizh Selvan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.T.Chezhiyan, learned Additional Government Pleader for R1 & R2, Mr.N.Nithianandam, learned counsel for R3 & R4 and Mr.G.Punniakoti, learned counsel for R5 to R7.

3. The petitioner claims herself to be the elder daughter and one of the legal heirs of the deceased Government servant Ramasami. She submitted a representation on 14.12.2020 to the respondents 1 to 4 not to issue legal heir certificate to the respondents 5 to 7. Since her representation was not considered, she is before this Court.

4. The petitioner can furnish the necessary documents before the fourth respondent and on perusing such documents, the fourth Page No.2 of 4

respondent shall consider and pass orders in accordance with law and on the merits of the representation submitted by the petitioner.

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed and the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of producing any legal heir certificate before the respondents 3 & 4 by any other legal heirs of the deceased, the respondents 3 & 4 shall verify its genuineness after giving notice to the petitioner and pass orders. No costs.
