O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking direction to dispose of O.P. No.4650 of 2018, pending on the file of V Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, as expeditiously as possible, within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent filed a petition for divorce on the ground of cruelty. This case is pending for

examination of witnesses from 30.09.2020. The respondent / petitioner side evidence was over on 30.12.2020 and case is pending for petitioner / respondent side evidence. Though the case is pending for cross examination, the same is getting adjourned without any reason. Therefore, this present Civil Revision Petition is filed.

3. Perusal of the diary extract of adjudication of case proceedings shows that the respondent's evidence is over and the petitioner's evidence is almost over. In such circumstances, this Court directs the V Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, to dispose of O.P. No.4650 of 2018, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
