This petition has been filed to amend the prayer in W.P. 18804 of 2025 to declare Regulation 17 (1) of the MSVE Regulations, 2016 as unconstitutional, being violative of Articles 14, 15(4) and 21 of the Constitution of India, or in the alternative, be pleased to read down the said regulation to allow exceptions in genuine and exceptional cases instead of calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 1st Respondent in Lr.No.5532/A4/2022, dated 02.05.2025, quash the same, and consequently direct the 1st respondent to permit the petitioner to appear for all five subjects in the 2nd COMPARTMENTAL (CAP) Examination scheduled to be conducted from 02.06.2025 to 07.06.2025 and to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2025 and frame and provide a special timetable enabling the petitioner to appear for all five subjects within the said examination period.
